International Education Week is a joint initiative of the Departments of State and Education. It is meant to raise awareness of, and promote innovation within, the field of international education.  In 2006, it is being celebrated Nov. 13 - 17.   

Visit our calendar page for a listing of the many internationally-themed events that will take place that week, including international cinema, foreign-language conversation hours, and presentations on study abroad.  Some are happening specifically for IEW, but be aware that most are ongoing, everyday events, free and open to be enjoyed by the Purdue-area community throughout the year.
