Getting a passport

US Passport Services (U.S. Department of State)

If you are going abroad in the next year and do not have a passport, apply immediately.  Be sure it will be valid for as long as you need it, or apply for renewal immediately.  Having a passport, or having proof that you have applied for one, is a condition for acceptance to study abroad, except for IPIA programs (College of Agriculture.)

Photos: Get two passport photos for $10.70 in STEW G-34 (credit/debit only); at Walgreens for $9, and at CVS for $8 with online coupon.

Passport application to Lafayette Post Office, located at 3450 State Road 26 East (just east of Home Depot):  You need to make an appointment with the post office by calling 765 448 9200.  Appointments can be made between 10 am and 4 pm, Monday - Friday.
