After applying to a study abroad program and accessing their own My Study Abroad page, students are able to apply for the awards listed below. Purdue students in good academic standing are eligible to apply, and the competition is open to those participating in all Purdue programs overseas regardless of the length or number of credit hours earned.
Travel Grant
The Office of Programs for Study Abroad awards a limited number of Travel Grants to Purdue students to help with the added costs of studying overseas. In return, recipients will be expected to share their experiences with others to further global education and study abroad.
Andrew Roccella Memorial Scholarship
Through the generosity of Dr. Edward J. and Mrs. Eileen M. Roccella, and their friends and relatives, the Andrew Roccella Memorial Scholarship endowment has been established to remember in a very special way Andrew J. Roccella. For more information about the history of this scholarship, click here.
Other Funding for Overseas Study
Many Purdue colleges or schools offer study abroad scholarships to their majors, and a number of co-sponoring agencies (CIEE, IES, etc.) also have funding available. Please click on the name of the scholarship below for more details.
Students should also inquire in their home departments about funding, and they should also feel free to search the internet. There are many scholarship opportunities that are not listed on this page.
