Provost's Global Scholarship

Deadline:  March 1, 2013

Objectives:  to assist Purdue students with the added costs of studying overseas.

Grant:  $1,000.  Funds for this scholarship program have been provided by the Office of the Provost of Purdue University and are limited.

Eligibility:  Purdue students in good academic standing who have applied for summer 2013 programs that are led by Purdue faculty members may apply.  Link here for a complete list of eligible programs.  Funds will be awarded based on financial need as determined by the Purdue University Division of Financial Aid; applicants must have a FAFSA on file. 

How to apply for the Provost’s Global Scholarship:       

1. Apply for a summer 2013 departmental study abroad program or summer internship program.  See the apply online section of this website for instructions.      
2. Go to the resulting My Study Abroad page.     
3. In the green box at the top of that page, follow the link to the online scholarship application.     
4. Complete and submit the application.

Selection:  Applications will be evaluated beginning March 2, 2013.  Notifications will be sent by March 15, 2013.  Recipients will then need to complete the Summer Aid Application, which will be available at the DFA website in April.
