Program Description

This eight-day international educational program will focus on agricultural, community and environmental sustainability in the tropical setting of Costa Rica. Visit CATIE Tropical Research campus; guided rainforest hike; whitewater rafting; tour pineapple, banana, chocolate & coffee plantation & processing plants; Fair Trade Co-ops; Costa Rican Wildlife & Conservation initiatives; Arenal Volcano; experience local culture through agrotourism & farms; Fishermen’s Co-Ops; Environmental challenges and initiatives; meet local students; and much more!
