Program Description
This is a 4 week program.  The first week involves on-site field learning in different locations: Rome, Tuscan coast, Cinque Terre.  It provides a deep awareness of cultural unity and regional diversity in Italy.  The week features on-site learning and assessment in unique locations spanning different regions, territories, and cultural landscapes.  Weeks 2, 3 & 4 are spent in Florence.  Coursework provides students with a basic understanding of the links between Italian culture, style, and traditions.  Workshops, tastings, site visits, audio-visual lectures are included.  Students live in apartments in the heart of historic Florence, and earn 6 credit hours.
