      The Global Brand in Vienna

Note: This program is only open to students in the Brian Lamb School's Online Master's Program    


This is the Brian Lamb School of Communication's Official Study Abroad Program in Vienna for Onilne Master's students. The program is designed to engage students in global branding. Vienna, a premier destination in Europe for business and tourism, is one of the world's leading global cities. This study abroad features both cultural visits AND professional interactions.
This program offers online master's students the unique opportunity to study global communication abroad in English! Students in this program will learn and apply international communication skills, including intercultural communication and branding.

Participation is only open to Lamb School online master's degree students. 
GPA Requirement: Good Academic Standing 
Language Requirement: None. This program is conducted in English. Classes and course material are designed for English-speaking students with no experience or training in German. 

Academic Program

Direct credit is available from the following: [College of Liberal Arts][Brian Lamb School of Communication] 
Students will earn 3 credits in have the option of choosing two of the following three course offerings: 
Com 590: Global Brand Communication: Branding in a global setting. Most coursework will occur before our 1 week experience in Vienna.  We willi have guest lectures, company visits, and other activities while in Vienna. 


Tentative visits and cultural experiences are planned for: 
The Hofburg Palace 
The Belvedere
The Spanish Riding School
Company Visits
Group Dinners and a Cooking Class  


Students will be housed in a hotel in a central location in Vienna. The hotel will provide daily breakfast. The hotel will be equipped with wifi.
