Students can earn the Certificate in Global Business in one of the following ways: five business courses; four Business courses and the Global Internship Course; three Business courses, the Global Internship Course and one of the elective courses; or four Business courses and one elective course.
Due to the rigorous nature of the course work, some previous academic experience in business is recommended, but not required.

Students interested in completing courses while abroad from Purdue colleges or departments that are not listed above should discuss this with their study abroad advisor before applying to the program.
Students on this program will take mostly business classes, with the option to take a few electives depending on which way you choose to receive the certificate. Business classes, liberal arts classes and a psychology class are available.
Students with at least two previous semesters of Italian may also opt to do a 3-credit internship in place of one of their classes.
Courses that are offered may include Italian Language, Art History, Studio Art, Cross-Cultural Psychology, Global Workforce Management, International Dimensions of Organizational Behavior, International Finance, International Economics, International Marketing, and more!

The program fee includes tuition for 12-18 credits, housing in shared apartments, optional internship placement, on-site orientation, bus pass, emergency medical insurance, and cultural events & activities.
The homestay option has an additional fee (not listed below) of $2,500 and includes breakfast and dinner.
