Program Details
Copenhagen Business School |
| Overview |

Copenhagen Business School is the largest business school in northern Europe. CBS has a 'buddy system' arrangement where each exchange student will be assigned a Danish 'buddy' to help get them through their first few weeks in Denmark. Your new friend may pick you up in the airport, help you with registration, give you advice on shopping, post offices, and other practical matters. 'Buddies' are CBS students who have volunteered to help one or more international students. Prior to departure, each student will receive a letter with the name and contact information for the buddy. Throughout the semester, various activities are planned for international students and their buddies. Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, has a rich history influenced by more than 800 years of Danish settlement. Copenhagen is rare in that it combines the economic, scientific, and cultural life of a modern city with a relaxed, small town atmosphere. Copenhagen is the seat of Danish Parliament, the central government, international organizations, research libraries, national museums of art and history, and the national media. It is the center of musical and cultural life. Students may take advantage of the city's superior transportation system to get around town. Trains and buses run day and night. The academic calendar begins in mid-August and ends in May.
