Study emerging issues in tropical biodiversity, agriculture, and agroforestry.

Topics covered include:
Climate
Vegetation types and environment
Cropping Systems
Introduction to agro-ecology

Gain a general understanding of tropical ecosystems and tropical agriculture/agroforestry systems.

Learn about biodiversity and the sustainable management of various crops.

Travel from the dry forests of Guanacaste to the cool mountain rainforests of Monteverde down to the steamy lowland rainforsts of LaSelva.
