If art and design are your interests, the Accademia Italiana in Florence will provide you with an incomparable experience. It ranks as one of Europe's premier institutes for the study of studio art, fashion design, graphic design, interior and industrial design, and textile design. | Eligibility |
The program is open to Purdue students who have completed at least two semesters of university study by the start of the program. Successful candidates will demonstrate academic success, maturity and a desire to experience another culture.
GPA Requirement: 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

If students complete courses while abroad from Purdue colleges that have not approved the program, they might be able to earn transfer credit for those courses. Students interested in pursuing transfer credit should discuss this with both their academic advisor and their study abroad advisor before applying to the program.

| Housing |
| Participants will be housed in shared apartments with other program participants and degree-seeking Accademia Italiana students. These apartments are in several Florence neighborhoods. |

Please note: The program fee listed in the chart below includes tuition, field-study trips, health and accident insurance, an International Student Identification Card, and student support services. The housing portion of our program fee assumes self-catered, shared accommodations. Students in catered housing or single accommodations could be subject to supplemental charges.
