Program Description

This course is offered in cooperation with University College Dublin, Ireland. Students will arrive in Shannon and depart from Dublin. While in Ireland, students will tour Irish farms, woolen mills, and research stations. Visits to the Cliffs of Moher, the Ring of Kerry, and the castles of Ireland are also planned. You will also get to spend St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland.

Learn about Irish culture and history, food processing, food policy in the European Union, and Irish agribusiness, while visiting the sights of Ireland. Students will earn one credit hour for this course. Led by Purdue faculty, the course has limited enrollment.
