China is experiencing unprecedented growth, locally affecting the culture and environment, and globally affecting energy and economic policies. Come learn about the agriculture, history, and culture of China.  We will explore the impact of industrialization on the environment, agricultural methods, as well as the history and culture of China and how it affects current methods.

 

Students will visit the Forbidden City, Summer Palace, the Great Wall of China, the Terra Cotta Soldiers, Emperors’ tombs, and the Three Gorges and Three Gorges Dam while traveling to Beijing, Xian, Chongqing, touring the Yangtze River.
