The Purdue College of Engineering Office of Professional Practice is offering a team research program that takes place at both Tsinghua University and on the Purdue campus during the summer of 2014:

                June 2 -July 6:  research work in Tsinghua labs
                July 7 - July 13:  travel within China
                July 14 - August 15: research work in Purdue labs.

Tsinghua University is one of the highest ranked universities in China and the best in the field of engineering.  Located in the northwestern suburbs of Beijing, the university was built on the site of a royal garden of the Qing Dynasty.  The university was established in 1911 and since then has developed into a comprehensive university of higher learning with faculties of science, engineering, economics, management, humanities, law and the arts.


This program is open to all engineering majors who are juniors or seniors at the time of application. GPA Requirement: 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

If students complete courses while abroad from Purdue colleges that have not approved the program, they might be able to earn transfer credit for those courses.
