MARCH 9-15, 2014

Budapest:  Managing Human Capital in Central Europe:

Economic power is measured not just by the comparative size of a nation’s or a region’s total or per capita GDP but also by trends in its comparative growth rate, shifts in competitiveness, and the many factors (such as trends in education and the share of savings and investment in output)  that determine the sustainability of economic and environmental performance.

Using the most up-to-date methods and comparative data, EU labor laws, focusing on cross-border employment, combined with a brief overview of the history of Hungary, company visits and relevant guest speakers from Central Europe, this course highlights the dramatic shifts in the recent past and offers plausible predictions about prospective future shifts in economic power among world regions and nations. Implications of the trends for business generally, and for HRM in particular, will be discussed.

Cost for this program is $1625 + $32 (insurance) for a total of $1657.  Tuition is billed for Spring 2014 semester and does not include airfare.
