We'll cover flights, train passes, youth hostels, food and more; all in the contexts of having a purpose behind your experiences - making it meaningful & beneficial as much as fun. We'll help you save some time, money, and energy too!

Intercultural Awareness Session

4:30 PM - 6:00 PM

There is limited space at this session, so be sure to sign up on your My Study Abroad Page. If you cannot sign up for it, that means this session is full. Learning about other cultures is one of the central goals of studying abroad. This workshop will deal with strategies students can use to hasten cultural adaptation and have more successful intercultural interactions. We will talk about appreciating the nuances of culture, being more mindful of how you come across, and having the tools to deal with the stages of cultural adjustment. This workshop is mandatory for all students studying abroad in Spring 2016.
