Intercultural Awareness Session

Learning about other cultures is one of the central goals of studying abroad. This workshop will deal with strategies students can use to hasten cultural adaptation and have more successful intercultural interactions. We will talk about appreciating the nuances of culture, being more mindful of how you come across, and having the tools to deal with the stages of cultural adjustment.

This workshop is mandatory for all students studying abroad in Spring 2016.

Spain Culture Orientation - PDM

6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

This is a mandatory meeting for students who will study in Spain in Spring 2016. This includes all exchange and co-sponsored programs. GEARE students are not required to attend this meeting, however they are welcome and strongly encouraged to do so. We will be talking Spanish culture so be ready with questions to ask our recently returned SA alumni!

 There will be no make-up session. Unless you have a class or an exam, do not schedule anything for this date and time - including flights home for Thanksgiving!
