Programs

The Study Abroad Office offers several types of programs in order to accommodate Purdue students. Over 200 programs are offered, they range in length from one week to one year, and they are located in more than 45 countries. The programs will vary by many different criteria, including cost, onsite support, accommodations, who you will take courses with, dates and lengths, courses available, excursions and field trips, and language abilities. Click here for more information on types of programs offered.

All students on Purdue approved programs remain enrolled as regular Purdue students while on study abroad programs, allowing students to fit study abroad into their four-year plan. Academic credit usually transfers back to Purdue with grades, but students should consult their academic advisors for specific courses. Students are also eligible for Purdue University scholarships and financial aid, which may be applied to program fees.

The Study Abroad Office has a number of excellent advisors who know program details and can suggest programs that fit your plan of study. You can make an appointment with one of our counselors by calling the Study Abroad Office at 494-2383.

Browse through all programs, see a full listing of internships, or make use of our program search (below). Simply choose the options that appeal to you and click on the button at the bottom to find programs matching your interests. Be aware, though, that selecting more options will result in fewer programs that match your specifications.
