Program Description
Are you curious about Asian work culture? Have you wondered how study abroad experience can help you with your future career? Join us in May 2027 to visit Japan and Taiwan to experience the cultures and innovations, to explore the different workspace cultures (including business etiquette) and to develop career readiness skills to ensure career success in the future.

• Thursday, May 13 | Tokyo: Company Visit; Cultural Visit; Free Time
• Friday, May 14 | Tokyo: Company Visit; Potential Alumni Engagement Activity
• Saturday, May 15 | Tokyo – Kyoto (via Shinkansen, Japanese Bullet Train)– Osaka: Kyoto Day Trip (Temple Visit)
• Sunday, May 16 | Osaka: Osaka Castle; Cultural Lesson; Free Time

Academic Credit
Earn 3 credits for EXPL 22000.
Eligibility
Open to Purdue undergraduate students in all majors. Students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and be in good academic standing.
*NO Language requirement is needed to participate in this program.
Program Cost
Students pursuing program participation accept financial responsibility. Purdue will take measures to mitigate financial risks, although will not be liable for loss.

Estimated Cost: $5,200-$5,300 which includes all hotels, daily breakfast, Welcome and Farewell dinners, local ground transportation, one-way airfare from Osaka to Taipei, 3 academic credits, all excursions and cultural activities on the itinerary, and international health insurance.
Additional Expenses: Round-trip airfare between U.S. and Asia, passport, visa (if needed), some meals, personal excursions and spending money.
