Program Description
A main objective for AI and Safety in Systematic Review – Italy is for students to apply modern tools in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to safety, well-being and health. A second main objective is to provide an opportunity for students to explore the rich culture and historic sites of Italy. An additional objective is for students to remember and understand safe product and process design in the context of safety, prevention, well-being and health-related principles. Workshops and activities will emphasize and reinforce key principles. Students will also gain insight from identifying, organizing, analyzing and synthesizing metadata from articles and databases in early stages of a systematic review and reappraisal. Subtopics identified from the analysis will provide opportunity for reframing and communicating about emerging areas in detail as part of the reappraisal. The course will begin with short presentations and a review of fundamentals in AI, safety and health before conducting a systematic review-related project. Students will identify and recognize AI in various bibliometric analysis tools and will illustrate use of AI in safety and health.
