Program Description
A TASTE OF SOUTHERN ITALY: PRODUCTION, PREPARATION, MARKETING

- May 11-22, 2026
- Credits: AGEC 49800 – 3 credits
- Cost for 2025: $6100 includes airfare, some meals, accommodation, in-country transportation, activities, 3 credits and international medical insurance.

Travel through southern Italy while experiencing its world-famous food, culture, and history! From sampling street food in Naples and exploring the ruins of Pompeii, to making mozzarella and tasting fresh olive oil on a local farm, you’ll see firsthand how food is produced and celebrated. Wander the ancient streets of Matera, relax along the Adriatic Sea, and take a cooking class in Rome after visiting the Vatican and Colosseum. This program blends incredible cuisine, hands-on experiences, and unforgettable sights—an immersive journey you won’t want to miss!
