Program Description
Griffith University is in Queensland, Australia, the "Sunshine State." Queensland is the most northern state on Australia's east coast with a landscape ranging from outback deserts to lush topical rainforests and coral reefs of the Great Barrier Reef. Queensland is Australia's "Sunshine State" and with an average of 300 days of sunshine a year, its no wonder that it has earned the nickname.
The capital, Brisbane, is located in the south-east corner of the state and is a modern vibrant city with the perfect mix of city "hussle and bussle" and relaxed outdoor living. Brisbane regularly hosts national and international cultural and sporting events.
Griffith has three campuses in the Brisbane area, Nathan, Mt Gravatt, and South Bank; students are typically able to take classes at multiple campuses, if needed:
- Nathan is the original Griffith campus and has more than 12,000 students. Situated in tranquil, native bushland on the edge of Toohey Forest, the Nathan campus is a short walk or bus ride from the Mt Gravatt campus or a 10 minute drive from central Brisbane. Public transport connects the campus to Mt, Gravatt, Garden City shopping centre, and the Brisbane CBD (central business district).
