University of Stuttgart- SUPER Summer Research Program

THIS PROGRAM IS OPEN ONLY TO STUDENTS ALREADY SELECTED BY OPP (College of Engineering) and the College of Science.

SUPER is a summer research program designed exclusively for undergraduate and graduate students from Purdue as a partner university of the University of Stuttgart. Due to the supervision involved, the number of places is extremely restricted.  Participating students gain intercultural competence during their research internships and experience student life at a German university.

The length of SUPER varies depending on the research project offered by the hosting institute.  In the past they have been from two to three months.

Possible study fields are:

  • Architecture and Urban Planning
  • Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics
  • Energy Technology, Process Engineering and Biological Engineering
  • Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology
  • Aerospace Engineering and Geodesy
  • Engineering Design, Production Engineering and Automotive Engineering
  • The High Performance Computing Center Stuttgart

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:  This is a selective and competitive program.  Before attempting to apply online, interested students must first contact The Office of Professional Practice (professionalpractice@purdue.edu; 765.494.7323) for information about the research projects and a discussion of the student's research interests and credentials as well as the required supporting documents to complete the program application.
