National University of Singapore

NUS logo

Over a century ago, the National University of Singapore (NUS) was established in a bustling metropolis at the crossroads of Asia. Today, NUS is consistently ranked in the top 30 universities around the world and among the top three universities in Asia by Times Higher Education World University Rankings and by QS World University Rankings.

Take advantage of attending a comprehensive university with seven main participating faculties offering courses from engineering to history and physics by taking courses outside your major, including Asian languages, cultures and history.

Founded in 1819 as a trading center by Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles, Singapore won its independence in 1965. Singapore is easy to explore independently. The best way is on foot, wandering the streets to discover small shops, a special house, or a temple, or just to observe the daily scene.
