Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) is located in Aas, only 30 minutes from the capital in Norway. Around 5000 students attend NMBU with the highest percentage of international students in the country. It is recognized as a leading international center of knowledge, focused on higher education and research within environmental and bio-sciences. They offer a wide variety of associations and activities to join ranging from a strong student democratic society. Over 650 courses are available with 50% being taught in English.

 Norway is continually ranked based on its high quality of life as one of the top countries in the world to live. Norway offers a diversity of opportunities to visitors ranging from high level academics to extreme outdoor adventures. The scenic fjords and mountains are breathtaking.
