Overview

Filled with skyscrapers, street markets, palaces, and temples, Seoul is a buzzing hub of energy and enterprise mixed with tradition and serenity. In just 50 years Seoul has grown into one of the world's most modern and vibrant cities!

University:   Seoul National University (SNU) was founded in 1946 as the first national university of Korea. It now has 16 colleges. Many of its departments and research institutes, especially in the field of engineering and natural sciences, are globally recognized for their cutting-edge research. SNU has an enrollment of approximately 27,000 students. 

Location:  Seoul is full of excellent food, interesting arts & crafts, and impressive historic sites. Seoul is an energetic city, ideal for people who love the urban lifestyle.

Eligibility

The program is open to Purdue students in good standing who have completed at least two semesters of university study by the start of the program. Successful candidates will demonstrate academic success, maturity, and a desire to experience another culture.

GPA Requirement: 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
