Massey University, one of New Zealand's largest universities, has around 35,000 students. The three campuses are located in the Manawatu at Palmerston North, at Wellington, and on Auckland's North Shore at Albany. The university is internationally-ranked, has inspiring teachers, leads in technology, has extensive sports facilities, connected with industries, and supports students needs. The agriculture program is ranked the highest in New Zealand. Massey University has new Zealand's only Institute of Veterinary, Animal and Biomedical Sciences, has pioneered and led distance learning and education, and has international recognition in disciplines as diverse as Finance, Agriculture, Food Technology, Design, Science and Engineering, Education, Social Sciences and Humanities, and Aviation.
New Zealand's size is comparable to Colorado and has a population just over 4 million. With the temperate climate it makes an ideal place to live. The country has a beautiful landscape with mountains, volcanoes, coasts, and rainforests. It is a peaceful, relaxing place, yet a place for adventure and thrill.
