Program Description
Veterinary nursing students will have the opportunity to participate inclinical rotations within the Rakuno Gakuen University Veterinary clinic. These students will be exposed to different aspects of veterinary medicine as well as receive lectures on how the different approaches to veterinary medicine tie into both Japan’s rich history and culture. While there, students will have the opportunity to engage with/work alongside other vet students from around the world. This opportunity will expose them to the importance of both research and cultural exchange and collaboration, and push them to examine ways in which they can continue to collaborate upon graduation.

Eligibility
This program is only open to current VN and VNDL students in the College of Veterinary Medicine.
All students participating in a departmental program will complete a pre and post assessment as part of program completion.
Program Cost
Students pursuing program participation accept financial responsibility. Purdue will take measures to mitigate financial risks, although will not be liable for loss.
