Housing
Student housing at Sussex includes a mix of en-suite and shared bathroom residences. You can choose to stay in one of nine campus residences or experience life in the city by living in a university-managed house or flat. If you prefer to rent private accommodation, Sussex can offer information and advice to support your search.
All accommodation is self-catered. You can buy groceries from local supermarkets, including the Co-op on campus. Kitchens are shared and come equipped with kitchen appliances. If you don’t fancy cooking, there are plenty of places to eat on campus or in Brighton with a variety of restaurants to suit every taste.
Applicants will rank their housing options in order of preference, with allocations subject to availability. Students studying at Sussex for the academic year are guaranteed university managed accommodation. Click here for details of the accommodation options.
