Program Description

MARCH 12-19, 2022 (spring break)- EXPLORING BUSINESS IN PERU

 

Up to five teams of (2) students each will imbed with teams of Invent Technologies, SAC executives along with various other private firm representatives to discuss and academically evaluate operations, supply chain and manufacturing management projects in real life scenarios.  The purpose will be that students get a real world experience in a private firm by identifying symptoms of problems and opportunity areas for improvement.  During the one-week program, the students will apply tools they have learned at Krannert.  The students will work together with local firm’s staff to identify areas of improvement and define project scope.  Students will analyze resolution scenarios, propose solutions and present them to the firm’s management in the form of professional presentations, reviewing results to company management while at Invent and summary trip reports including details of assigned projects.

Program Cost

Students pursuing program participation accept financial responsibility. Purdue will take measures to mitigate financial risks, although will not be liable for loss.

Program Fee: ~$2654.40 (excluding airfare) (dependent on total number of students on team). ($500 non-refundable deposit of this total collected amount required)

Billed in Spring 2022 Semester

 

Please keep in mind that, students pay regular tuition fees plus the program fee.  There will be no SA fee charge
