Overview

University of Exeter offers exchange students the opportunity to choose classes from over 30 departments at this world class university.  With over 200 student societies and over 50 sports clubs the University of Exeter offers you an opportunity to continue developing your skills outside of classroom while living in one of the most beautiful areas of the UK.

Eligibility

The program is open only to Purdue Honors College students who have completed at least two semesters of university study by the start of the program. Successful candidates will demonstrate academic success, maturity and a desire to experience another culture.

GPA Requirement: 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Language Requirement: none

Students interested in completing courses while abroad from Purdue colleges or departments that are not listed above should discuss this with their study abroad advisor before applying to the program.



Housing

Students can request housing at James Owen Court, university owned accommodation near Streatham and St Luke’s campuses and Exeter city centre. The residence has 275 single rooms arranged in cluster flats for three to eight residents sharing a kitchen/diner and lounge. All rooms are en-suite. James Owen Court is in demand, as such, availability cannot be guaranteed.  Students are also welcome to pursue independent accommodation.

Students pursuing program participation accept financial responsibility. Purdue will take measures to mitigate financial risks, although will not be liable for loss. 

Students should carefully note what costs need to be paid to Purdue University or to a co-sponsor or agency, and what costs need to be paid at the overseas study location.  This will vary by program.
