Overview

IES-Paris: Marketing

Students in front of the Eiffel Tower

Study international marketing and brand management in Paris, one of the world’s great cities—home to Global Fortune 500 companies and luxurious brands, as well as sidewalk cafés, stunning gardens, outdoor markets, and more.

As an important international business center that boasts one of the highest GDPs of any city, Paris is an ideal city to study Marketing.

The program will expand your understanding of the marketplace for luxury brands and the marketing of products from around the world. Using examples like Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, and Dom Pérignon, you will gain an educational experience that you couldn’t get at your home campus.

Course offerings are subject to change, but this program typically only has two courses and students will take both. Please see IES website for more course details.

Enjoy a visit to the Sun King’s famous château in all its gilded glory, and tour the magnificent gardens and fountains.

Note: IES Abroad field trip destinations, activities, and length of stay may vary according to term and availability.

Housing

This program has two housing options:

Homestays – You stay in a French home in the city of Paris or its surrounding banlieues (suburbs). You eat breakfast daily and three evening meals per week with your host(s). Other meals are available at university cafeterias and inexpensive restaurants. You have the option to request a typical homestay placement or a placement in a chambre de bonne.

Apartments – A limited number of apartments are available for an additional fee. Apartments include kitchen facilities and shared bathrooms. An IES Abroad Resident Assistant lives on-site. Meals are not included.
