ESTACA
It cannot be Paris without this!

ESTACA has become one of the leading engineering schools in France. ESTACA is regarded for the excellence of its aeronautical, automotive, railway, and aerospace engineering academic programs.  

ESTACA is located in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, just 10 minutes from Versailles and 30 minutes from the Eiffel Tower. Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelinesis is an ideal student town with accommodation, restaurants, sport, and culture.

Applicants for the English-taught programs must be juniors at the time of application. 

GPA Requirement: 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Language Requirement: none

If students complete courses while abroad from Purdue colleges that have not approved the program, they might be able to earn transfer credit for those courses. Students interested in pursuing transfer credit should discuss this with both their academic advisor and their study abroad advisor before applying to the program.

Academic Program

Language of Instruction: French & English

Semester Course Load: 30 ECTS (15 Purdue credits) minimum

Many Purdue students elect to participate in the English-taught Automotive & Aeronautics Design Program. Students interested in other study programs, must have the appropriate French language background.

Although French language skills are not required for all programs, participants are required to complete a 'French as a foreign language' course as part of the program.

Housing

ESTACA has no dormitories, but the staff can assist students in finding housing. Options include residence halls, private apartments, and student hostels.
