Program Description
WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING!
2023 Summer we will offer the “Korean Culture Experience Program” from July 1-29, 2023 (6 credit hours, 4 weeks in Korea). No Korean language is required for this program!
You will have the opportunity to experience authentic Korean life, culture-including K-Pop, art, history, food, and more.
You will be able to embrace the most unique and meaningful elements of this country by taking two courses (6 credit hours), visiting amazing places, and engaging in many different activities.

Academic Credit
6 Credit Hours
- LC 399 Korean Popular Culture
- LC 593 “Glocal” History and Society of Korea
- Courses will include cultural excursions and activities, series of guest lecturers and workshops, whose speakers include artists, academics and business leaders.
Eligibility
- For any Purdue students with an interest in learning international culture
Program Cost
Students pursuing program participation accept financial responsibility. Purdue will take measures to mitigate financial risks, although will not be liable for loss.
The estimated program fee is $6200, which includes:

A $500 deposit is required to secure your placement.

The non-refundable deposit will be applied to the total cost of the program.

Students must budget additional funds for airfare, passport costs, daily transportation to internships, and personal expenses.
