Program Description
This course will allow students to explore the possibility of interning abroad or possibly working abroad after college. Students will meet with alumni working abroad and a Purdue student who is interning for the semester/year. Each interview/ group meeting will consist of students asking the interviewee questions about life abroad, what lead them to make this career decision, what steps they took, etc.
With this experience students will be able to determine whether or not working abroad is something that they would really like to pursue in the future. Along with the course work, students will be immersed in the Portuguese culture during group outings and given independant time to explore the city on their own.
