Program Description

MGMT 390 - Cross Cultural Business in the E.U.

To understand and appreciate a different culture and its individual nuances in business, it is important to recognize the central role that communication plays. This seminar focuses on intercultural communication in business and management.  We will examine the differences and similarities of business culture in France, the E.U. and the U.S. Classroom instruction will be supplemented with visits to local companies, (such visits may include the European Parliament) as well as guided cultural tours and guest lectures. 

Academic Credit

MGMT 390 - 1 credit P/NP

Eligibility

Course open to all PWL students who meet any prerequisites, are in good academic standing and meet the minimum 2.5 GPA requirement.

Program Cost

Students pursuing program participation accept financial responsibility. Purdue will take measures to mitigate financial risks, although will not be liable for loss.

Estimated cost: $2400 (cost does not include airfare or personal spending)
