The CIEE Summer Global Internship program advances students' unique skill set to make their resume stand out in today's competitive global job market.
Spend the summer expanding your resume, growing your global network, and gaining real-world work experience on an international internship in Legon, Ghana! As a major suburb of Ghana’s capital city, Accra, Legon is conveniently located near policy and governance hubs, national and international NGOs, vibrant entrepreneurial companies, education and research organizations, and STEM establishments. Its wide range of nearby businesses and organizations make Legon the perfect backdrop for a summer internship, offering diverse opportunities across nearly every industry.
This program combines a full-time, unpaid internship with an integrated academic seminar to provide professional exploration and specific skills development. Students will learn to contextualize real-world experience while learning about local business culture, intercultural communication, professional development, and linkages between local and global industry trends.
