Program Description
PROGRAM CANCELLED
Spring break excursion to London with a focus on contemporary performance and design practices. Students will spend 8 days and 8 nights in the heart of London, UK and will learn about theatre and performance design with a specific focus on contemporary practices.
Activities included a theatre making worksop with faculty at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama where the students will collaborate with local students in performance and design. Students will also learn about art and theatre history by touring the West End Theater district, National Theatre Workshops, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, The Tate Modern and Victoria and Albert Museums, and East London street art murals.
Nightly students will also attend theatre productions in various professional venues.

Eligibility
The study abroad program is open to all Purdue undergraduate and graduate students.
Those within the Department of Theatre and Dance have first priority. If the number of applicants is greater than enrollment cap upper level students have first priority.
Program Cost
Students pursuing program participation accept financial responsibility. Purdue will take measures to mitigate financial risks, although will not be liable for loss.
$4000 Estimated
Includes: Airfare, Hotel, Ground Transportation in London, Shuttle to/from US Airport, Daily Breakfast, Three Group Dinners, and All Course Activities (productions, workshops, tours).
Application Deadline
Application due: October 1, 2025.
$500 deposit due October 10, 2025.
