Program Description

This program allows students (elementary, special education, social studies and secondary majors) to obtain 7 credits and fulfill course requirements (EDCI 20500 & EDCI 28500) and receive the Global Studies Seminar credit, or up to 7 credits of EDCI 49000. Graduate students receive 7 credits for EDCI 68400, EDCI 58500 or EDCI 59000.  Credits earned while studying abroad also count towards a Global Studies Minor.

Purdue University students combine course work and the opportunity to teach students in bilingual elementary and secondary schools, observe and direct activities in rural schools, and visit historic sites in Honduras.
