Founded in 1872, Aberystwyth University was the first university institution to be established in Wales. Today, it has over 7,000 registered students, including over 1,100 postgraduates across eighteen academic departments.

Aberystwyth, Wales is in a college town of 13,000 residents located on Caridgan Bay, 210 miles from London, an area known for the beauty and quality of its natural environment.   Purdue students take courses in a wide range of topics including environmental, forestry, animal science, soil science, economics, food science, and humanities.
