Founded in 1872, Aberystwyth University was the first university institution to be established in Wales. Today, it has over 7,500 registered students in 17 departments. Aberystwyth, Wales is in a college town of 16,000 residents located on Caridgan Bay, 210 miles from London, an area known for the beauty and quality of its natural environment.
