Modern Dublin is defining the new image of Ireland with its thriving economy, social programs, and art scene. Yet even in the midst of change, Dublin preserves its history, evident in its architecture and in its political, religious, and social institutions. Dublin plays many roles for Ireland, being the Republic's political capital, the home of past and present writers of international stature, and the center of the island's phenomenal economic growth. Eligibility | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The program is open to Purdue students in good standing who have completed at least two semesters of university study by the start of the program. Successful candidates will demonstrate academic success, maturity, and a desire to experience another culture. For the intensive acting program: Applicants must major or minor in Theater Arts/Drama or have theater experience. Language Requirement: none |

Students pursuing program participation accept financial responsibility. Purdue will take measures to mitigate financial risks, although will not be liable for loss. Students should carefully note what costs need to be paid to Purdue University or to a co-sponsor or agency, and what costs need to be paid at the overseas study location. This will vary by program. Program Fee includes tuition and on-site orientation. The fees below are for the Irish Studies program. The program fees for intensive acting are slightly higher. For full consideration, students must submit all supporting documents before or by the application deadline. Popular programs fill quickly, often before the deadline. To insure a place in a program, apply early. As soon as a student submits an online application, a My Study Abroad account is created.
