Program Description

AGRICULTURE IN IRELAND

  • Credits: AGR 49300 or HORT 49100 – 1 credit
  • Cost for 2025: $4300 which includes airfare, transportation, some meals, international medical insurance, accommodation

Learn about Irish culture, history, food processing, agribusiness and farming while visiting the sights of Ireland. Students will explore Cork, Galway and Dublin. Visits to the Cliffs of Moher, Kylemore Abbey and farms are on the agenda. Students will earn one credit.

All students participating in a departmental program will complete a pre and post assessment as part of program completion.

Students pursuing program participation accept financial responsibility. Purdue will take measures to mitigate financial risks, although will not be liable for loss.
