The Purdue Agriculture exchange program with CATIE, is a special opportunity to gain graduate or in some cases undergraduate level research experience at one of Purdue's partner institutions in Central America.  It is intended for students who have a specific research interest and/or students who are working with professors with special ties to the institute.  Please come in to the IPIA office for further information.

Application Deadlines

In order to apply for participation in this program you must come to the IPIA office, AGAD Rm. 26 and speak with an advisor.  Please call 494-6876 to set up an appointment with either Kara Hartman or Linda Vallade.  You can pick up an application at that initial meeting.

The priority application deadline for participation in the Fall term is October 31st of the previous fall.  The deadline for spring term is April 15th of the previous spring.
