Program Description

 Asian Emerging Markets and Economies

This course provides an examination of the industrial infrastructure of Taiwan and its relation to business, trade, and manufacturing globalization. The curriculum consists of half-day lectures on Asian economic developments, financial markets in Taiwan, business environments in Taiwan and China, information technology, language, and culture. There are also on-site visits to local businesses and industries and daily interaction with local students. In addition there is a short course on survival Taiwanese!

PWL Students (minimum GPA 2.5)

Program Cost

 Cost: $2982

Cost includes airfare, medical insurance, tuition for one credit, airline costs, hotel, excursions, local transportation, guided tours, daily breakfast, some meals.
