Bocconi University is a rigorous research institution and one of the most reputable European schools of Business, Economics, and Finance. For well over a century, students have graduated with degrees in management, finance, law, and statistics. Investing heavily in internationalization, Bocconi University is building a truly global environment on campus. Known as the fashion capital of the world, Milan is also the main industrial, commercial, and financial center of Italy and home to businesses including Giorgio Armani, Bugatti, and Pirelli. The metropolis has a population of 1.3 million people, and attracts over 8 million tourists a year who flock to Milan’s renowned art, fashion, culture, and international events. Open to students who have a minimum junior standing by the start of the program. Purdue students should be in good standing. Bocconi’s International Student Desk arranges an intensive calendar of Welcome Activities to help familiarize students with the campus, the academic environment, and the city before classes begin. Milan is one of the greatest cities in Italy, and an ideal location for day or weekend excursions. Travel within the country to Verona, the famous setting of Romeo and Juliet, or explore the “Floating City,” Venice. In Milan, make sure to visit Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper, Duomo roof, Villa Necchi Campiglio, and San Siro Stadium! You’ll always have something to discover and people to meet. |

Students pursuing program participation accept financial responsibility. Purdue will take measures to mitigate financial risks, although will not be liable for loss. Students should carefully note what costs need to be paid to Purdue University or to a co-sponsor or agency, and what costs need to be paid at the overseas study location. This will vary by program. The optional intensive Italian language course is not included in the budget listed below. The cost for this optional course is approximately €150. To insure a place in a program, apply early. As soon as a student submits an online application, a My Study Abroad account is created.
