Program Description

Students who complete this program will earn 4 credits of ANSC 49400. 

This course is in cooperation with Banat University of Agricultural Sciences & Veterinary Medicine University of Banat, Timisoara, Romania and two non-governmental organizations working in agricultural development and education.  Students work in bi-national teams (Romanian undergraduates also participate in the course) directly with Romanian small-scale livestock producers to address the challenges they face in their operations.  Weekends will be spent visiting historic and cultural sites.

4 credits of ANSC 49400. (1 cr preparatory course; 3 cr travel course).
