University of Galway (formerly National University of Ireland- Galway or NUIG) dates to 1849 when Queen's College opened its doors to 63 students. Over the past 170 years, University of Galway has built a distinguished reputation for teaching and research excellence. The university offers a wide range of coursework that provides students with opportunities for personal and academic development, as well as giving them the knowledge and skills they need to pursue successful careers. The campus is located in the city center, on the banks of the Corrib River, convenient to all types of public transportation.

Eligibility

National University of Ireland - Galway/ University of Galway

The program is open to Purdue Biomedical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering students in good standing who have completed at least two semesters of university study by the start of the program. Successful candidates will demonstrate academic success, maturity, and a desire to experience another culture.

GPA Requirement: 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Semester Course Load: 30 ECTS (15 Purdue Credit Hours)
